Free Shipping to the Lower 48 USA:
We proudly offer FREE shipping on all orders delivered to the lower 48 contiguous United States. Orders are shipped via FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight, or the most cost-effective carrier available at the time of shipment.
Please note that all deliveries are curbside delivery only. The carrier will not bring items inside your home, garage, kitchen, or any other interior space. We recommend arranging for assistance at the time of delivery if needed.
Customers also have the option to contact us prior to purchase to request a shipping quote, especially for large, heavy, or specialty items, to avoid any unexpected additional charges.
Additional Shipping Charges
While we strive to maintain free shipping whenever possible, there may be circumstances where shipping costs are significantly higher than standard rates. This can occur due to factors such as:
- Remote or limited-access delivery locations
- Oversized or overweight items
- Carrier surcharges or rate adjustments
In such cases, we reserve the right to contact you prior to processing the order to discuss any additional shipping fees. If applicable, we will request approval and payment for the difference before shipment. If you choose not to proceed, you will have the option to cancel your order for a full refund.
Order Cut-Off Time:
Orders placed by 12:00 PM Eastern Time will be processed on the same business day.
- Processing time: 1-3 business days
- Shipping time: 2-7 business days
- Total Delivery Time: 3-10 business days after placing your order
Tracking number(s) will be sent to the email provided within 2-4 business days after the order placement date. You can use this tracking number to monitor your shipment's progress. Shipping typically takes 2-7 business days after the processing date.
LTL Shipments:
Large and heavy items such as furniture, electronics, or items exceeding 155 pounds will ship via LTL (less-than-truckload) shipment. The carrier will call to schedule a delivery appointment, and someone must be present to sign for the shipment upon delivery.
Damaged Packages:
If the box has clear damage upon delivery:
- Take clear photos of the damaged box.
- Refuse the package and note the damages with the delivery driver on the Bill of Lading or Freight Bill.
- Email sales@modernhomesteadco.com or support@ modernhomesteadco.com with your issue and photos.
Damages to the product must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
Return Policy:
All product(s) must be returned in their original condition, never installed, including the original packaging, manufacturer's containers, documentation, warranty cards, manuals, and all accessories. Refunds will be issued after the warehouse receives, inspects, and processes your return. Return shipping charges are not refundable.
Shipping Zones:
Free shipping applies only to the 48 contiguous states. Shipping is not available for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and other US territories. International shipping, including to Canada, is not possible. Returns for shipments outside our shipping range will not be honored.
